This team member provides support in the yard and within the mill. The daily routine will require the candidate to be on their feet nearly 100% of the time and includes walking, standing, reaching. lifting, stooping or bending. Job Duties
- Ability to setup and perform basic maintenance on wood planner.
- Ability to learn wood drying process for Pine and Bass Kilns
- Ability to learn wood waxing process.
- Ability to set and maintains quality standards for incoming material.
- Inspects product to ensure compliance expectations as indicated by internal Quality Instructions.
- Operates all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
- All other duties as assigned Skills/ Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read calipers and tape measuring devises.
- Ability to learn to operate fork truck.
- Ability to prioritize and execute daily work assignments.
- Understanding of overall customer satisfaction expectations specific to on-time-delivery (OTD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
