Co. in Cohoes, NY is seeking a packaging line leader for our packaging operations to lead a team of 6-10 employees in packing, vacuum sealing, and labeling our ready to eat sausages.
Responsibilities include:
Meeting packaging efficiency goals Motivating team members Ensuring compliance with dress code, on-time starts, and sanitation for the line Completing all batch paperwork and making sure all product packaging specifications are met Filling in for key line positions when needed Organizing and preparing all supplies, including labels and packaging materials The right candidate is experienced with production machinery (preferably food machinery) and food handling. Must have great attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and have a team player attitude.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday / 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, ability to stay until production is completed is mandatory. Starting pay rate $25 p/hr. Plus an additional $1 shift differential!
NOTE:
This is a refrigerated work space, with temperatures generally around 35 degrees.
