Semiconductor Technician - 3rd Shift (Wed-Sat 10p-8:30a)

We are looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Technician 1 (Wed-Sat; 10:00pm-8:30am)for our Amherst NY facility. In this role you will be responsible for processing / coating ESCs for the Seimconductor market providing top quality product in a timely fashion which matches the customer's specifications and needs.

Your Responsibilities:

The main responsibility is to prepare the coating system, load, unload the chamber with extreme care and attention to detail. Set up and monitoring of the Coating Machines Pre-treat a variety of customer products using rigorous standardized methods to prepare products for coating. Be able to make critical processing decisions, to initiate the coating process as well as be responsible for disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads. Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Profile:

High school diploma or GED required Associate degree (2-year) in a relevant field such as; Electrical / Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial or Manufacturing Technology (preferred) Equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing or technical trade environment may be considered in place of a 2-year degree Experience in the Semiconductor industry is preferred. Manufacturing / production experience. Good work ethics. Team orientated. Computer skills, be able to utilize MS Office on the job. Required to lift 44 pounds with extreme care. Vacuum knowledge preferred but not required.

Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire.
