Job Description
Industrial Sewing Team Member Salary:
$20-$22 per hour, based on experienceJob Summary:
Join our production team to operate industrial sewing equipment and use hand tools to help create high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Minimum Job Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous stitching or sewing experience is preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
Essential Job Functions:
- Stitch and assemble a variety of products using industrial sewing equipment
- Perform basic upkeep and care of sewing equipment and machinery
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
- Support team operations by completing additional assigned duties as needed
- Maintain regular attendance and contribute to a safe, reliable work environment
- Remain attentive and follow safe operating practices at all times
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
This position requires close mental and visual attention to control machines and processes at a rapid pace, with strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor adjustment. The role may also involve planning or directing moderately complex work methods or operations to achieve required product size, shape, or physical characteristics.Physical Activities:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, perform repetitive motions, grasp, feel, speak, and hear
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
