Job Description

Embroiderer / Embroidery Production & Finishing Associate Job Overview Acme ScreenPrinting is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Embroiderer & Finishing Associate to join our growing production team. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality decorated apparel and finished goods for our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and a willingness to learn and grow within the apparel decoration industry. Experience in embroidery is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, production experience, or embroidery/manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply. In this role, you will be responsible for operating embroidery equipment, hooping garments with precise placement, troubleshooting common production issues, inspecting finished products, and assisting with servicing and finishing embroidered goods for shipment. Responsibilities & Duties Set up and operate commercial embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidery on a wide variety of garments and products. Accurately hoop and align garments including: T-shirts, jackets, hats, polos, bags, specialty items and other apparel products Monitor embroidery production for quality, consistency, thread tension, registration, and proper machine operation. Troubleshoot and correct common embroidery issues including: Thread breaks, tension adjustments, needle changes, bobbin issues and other minor machine and production interruptions. Inspect finished embroidered products to ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to company quality standards. Perform routine daily maintenance and cleaning of embroidery equipment to maintain optimal machine performance. Assist with finishing and servicing embroidered products including: Trimming, folding, bagging, labeling, packaging and preparing orders for shipment Maintain organization and cleanliness within the embroidery and production areas. Assist with inventory organization and stocking of embroidery supplies, threads, needles, backings, and related materials. The ability to read, understand, and follow written job tickets, work orders, and production instructions accurately. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and customer deadlines. Qualifications & Skills Prior embroidery experience preferred is 3 years. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks. Ability to lift and move boxes or garments as needed. Experience with commercial embroidery machines and embroidery software is a plus. Experience in apparel decoration, garment manufacturing, sewing, or finishing operations is a plus. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
