POSITION TITLE
Packaging Line Lead
DEPARTMENT
Packaging
REPORTS TO
Manager Packaging
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To work with a team to assure packaging operations are run on time and accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate packaging machines for tablets
  • Monitor tablet quality (chipping, breakage) and packaging criteria (count, seals, labels)
  • Check and verify bulk and packaging components before starting packaging operations
  • Perform quality checks throughout packaging operations
  • Maintain line Masters and other paperwork
  • Train staff and assist with Line assignments
  • Perform minor machine adjustments to maintain efficient operations
  • Clean and maintain equipment and rooms
  • Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs
  • Document all activities in Master Production Records and LogBooks
  • Communicate any deviations to Supervisor
  • Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Over 2 years prior experience in packaging, preferably in a solid dose OTC facility
  • Must work as part of a team.
