Production Assistant

Job description: Looking for interesting work and a variety of responsibilities? We are a technology manufacturing company located near the Ithaca airport and we are in need of a highly motivated individual to help fulfill our growing production needs. As a small company, we need employees who are flexible and are able to perform a range of tasks. The Product Assembler's primary role is to perform the timely, efficient and high-quality production of products for shipment to customers located all over the world.

Core job functions include:

Preparing product components Assembling products under a microscope Product inspection with attention to detail Other tasks as needed Preference will be made for employees who are most flexible and are able to perform a wide range of tasks very well. Hours

• Full Time or Part Time with flexible scheduling
• During normal business hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays Required skills include:
• excellent attention to detail
• excellent fine motor skills for assembly of sub-millimeter size components under a microscope
• common sense and ability to work independently
• the ability to multi-task.

Desirable skills:

• familiarity with Quickbooks and UPS/FedEx shipment procedures.
