Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
- Loading and unloading product onto paint line.
- Inspection of product for quality/defects.
- Following work orders for proper packaging of items.
- Ability to use and care for equipment and tools used in performing work assignments.
- Ability to follow oral and written work assignments.
- Prepares parts by washing, blowing off parts and removing rust and weld berries.
- Prepares parts for final inspection & use pallet jack to move parts.
- Ability to use computers to properly complete work orders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Associates must be able to successfully work independently and also as a team member.
- A good attendance history (reliability) and a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and skills is a must.
- The requirements listed are a good representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 3 months experience as a Paint Line Helper, but will train the right candidate.
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read blueprints, use calipers, protractors and machinist squares is a must; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
