As an Engineering Intern with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will assist the Engineering Team with design and engineering support of the Powder Manufacturing and Crystal Manufacturing operations, through hands-on education, training and manufacturing experience. This engineering intern will be exposed to and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain to assist our teams with developing manufacturing processes, fixtures, and equipment. The intern is expected to have a professional disposition, be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn and have effective communication skills.
Additional Duties:
Research and scope engineering solutions to manufacturing problems. Drive continuous improvement and provide suggestions for improvement based on engineering observations. Provide technical support to engineering team, including data collection and conducting experiments. Work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Present projects and report results to the Crystal and engineering teams. Performs other related duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Enrolled in an Engineering Bachelor s or Master s Degree program
Experience:
Microsoft Office experience to include Word and Excel. Effective communication skills demonstrated through educational experience
Travel:
Minimal Preferred Qualifications Enrolled in Ceramic, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Manufacturing Engineering Bachelor s or Master s Degree program, at an accredited university Minimum 3.0
