Part-Time Installer/Production Specialist Base Salary Range:

$20•$30 per hour

Standard Working Hours:

8:00 am•4:00 pm Monday•Friday About the role: As a sign installer/production specialist, your responsibilities will include ensuring that the signs meet the client's specifications, preparing and mounting the signs, and managing their placement and installation. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized, have good knowledge of different types of signs, and feel comfortable working at heights. A skilled sign installer should also have a keen eye for precision and an understanding of construction and installation techniques. This role is anticipated to be 20 hours/week, with the potential to grow to a full time position. Flexible work arrangements considered, perfect for the semi-retiree.

Responsibilities:

Confirm that the signs meet the client's requirements regarding spelling, font, size, and medium. Safely loading and transporting the signs, tools, and materials to the installation location. Operation of company vehicles while following all safety procedures Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage and preparing the surface or structure Ensuring that the sign is precisely measured, placed, and installed in accordance with safety protocols and installation instructions. Mounting and installing the sign while following all safety procedures. Cleaning up debris and materials from the site after each installation. Conducting maintenance and repairs on signs as necessary. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely. Mask, weed and apply vinyl to substrates Must be able to use an X-Acto and utility knives, tape measure, ruler, level, basic hand and power tools, and other production tools efficiently. Properly load and operate a hot/cold pressure laminator following standard safety precautions. Apply vehicle and window graphics following manufacturer specifications Skills & experience required Valid driver's license Ability and willingness to learn about various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs, and road signs. Knowledge of installation methods, materials, and safety measures. The ability to operate hand and power tools. Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor including lifting, climbing, and working at heights. The ability to work in adverse weather conditions. OSHA 10 is a plus but not required

Pay:

$20.00•$30.00 per hour
