Job Description Our client is looking for a senior designer with experience in the Tween category for dresses. Must have a great eye for trend in the market with the ability to identify looks that can be interpreted for this market at a department store price point. Will be responsible for the creative direction, design execution, and product development. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of inspiration, culture, color, fabric, and what's trending relevant to this age group. This position is on-site 4 days a week, WFH Friday. The salary range for this role is $85-110,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop seasonal collections for the tween market trends and competition. Create original sketches, technical drawings, and color palettes. Collaborate with the merchandising and production teams to ensure designs meet cost targets and delivery schedules. Conduct trend research, market analysis, and attend trade shows as needed. Oversee fittings and adjustments, ensuring proper fit, function, and comfort. Work closely with fabric and trim sourcing teams to select appropriate materials. Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative, creative studio environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field Minimum 7 years of experience in apparel design with at least 3 years focused on the Tween market Strong portfolio Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software Excellent knowledge of garment construction and fit and the ability to make comments to an overseas factory Strong communication and presentation skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Experience designing an elevated product with knowledge of fabrics, color, and print If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
