Product Development / Production Associate

Growing Girl's import apparel company seeking senior level Product Development/Production Associate for daily communication to factories in our multiple category lines which include sportwear, occasion dresses, swimwear, sweaters, denim and sleepwear.

Responsibilities Include:

Daily communication with factories on all product development related matters Managing the life cycle of assigned styles in development with Product Development Manager and VP of Sourcing, including costing Communicate retailer requirements to factories - labeling, packing, ticketing, hanging, marking. Review and tracking of submits and production status with vendors and internal stake holders Review/distribute lab dips and sample submits to the Design and Tech departments and passing their comments to factories Track all testing for compliance of products and factories

Qualifications and Competencies:

3-5 years experience in Developing girls apparel Knits and Woven product knowledge preferred Detail oriented Organized and very good follow up skills Sense of urgency and intuitive sense of priorities Team player Strong work ethic Reliable Self-starter Strong working knowledge of tech packs Clear and thorough understanding of apparel product development and product cycle timelines

Salary:

$70,000 - $80,000
