JOB OVERVIEW
Working as part of the Production team, the Resource Assistant is responsible for managing the resources and equipment required to execute a high quality, well organized festival. This role is responsible for tracking, distributing, and maintaining festival assets across multiple venues. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and experienced in festival or live event production.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Coordinate deliveries with internal departments and external partners, ensuring all deliveries are received, quality-checked, and properly inventoried; Maintain cross-departmental inventory of equipment, sponsor product, festival signage, and other assets from pre-production through final wrap; Coordinate the distribution and deployment of festival signage across all venues, including off-campus venues; Collaborate with site managers and venue staff to ensure all festival venues are fully equipped and properly supplied throughout the festival; Train, schedule, and supervise the work of festival production volunteers; Oversees the set up and breakdown of festival merchandise stands across NYFF venues, including direct oversight of the stand at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center; Prepare and submit a comprehensive post-festival wrap report; Provide additional administrative and production support as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
1+ years experience in film festival, live event, or conference production; Exceptional organizational skills; Strong attention to detail and follow-through; Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment; Calm and solutions-oriented under pressure; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Comfortable working out of our brick and mortar offices and our venues; Proficiency with Google Suite.
