  • Job Description The Production Associate performs a wide range of tasks to build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, including soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB work, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly.
Responsibilities Perform hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and printed circuit boards (PCBs) using established procedures and quality standards. Assemble electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies as required, including cable assemblies, ribbon cable assemblies, and related components. Operate production and assembly equipment and machines safely and efficiently as part of the manufacturing process. Review, complete, and maintain required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Read and interpret moderately complex assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders to perform assembly tasks correctly. Follow written and verbal assignments, instructions, and priorities from production leads and supervisors. Collaborate with team members and participate in cross-training to support multiple areas of production as needed. Preferred Skills Experience in general production, assembly, or manufacturing roles. Hands-on soldering experience, including soldering wires to electrical connectors and PCBs. Experience with electronic assembly, including SMT and general soldering assembly tasks. Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal assignments in a production environment. Proficiency with basic hand tools Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
