Shift/Working Hours:
Day Shift (M-F) Role Overview The Production Analyzer Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and reliable in-process quality measurements through the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments. This role plays a critical part in process optimization and in line measurements by troubleshooting complex instrumentation, partnering with maintenance teams to plan repairs, and serving as the analytical representative on capital projects to enhance analyzer systems. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance and calibration of plant analyzers, coordinate shutdown activities with operations. Monitor analyzer performance, conduct preventive maintenance, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with operations and quality teams to optimize analyzer systems; compile and present process data and escalate out-of-control parameters. Work with maintenance to repair and maintain analyzer loop components and sample systems (e.g., tubing, valves, fittings). Diagnose and resolve process and instrumentation issues requiring advanced knowledge of process control systems. Provide operator training on analyzer interactions and define roles and responsibilities for in-process analytics.
  • In Process Measuring aHCl quality ( Production Analyzer Specialist will take Ownership of this equipment ): o Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR)
  • measuring aHCl and Cl2 quality o Wasson Gas Chromatography (GC)
  • measuring aHCl and adding Cl2 capabilities o Tiger Optics' HALO
  • Moisture (aHCl) and CO2 (Chlorine)
  • Final Product Leak Testing ( Production Analyzer Specialist will take Ownership of this equipment ): o Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Detector
  • measuring He during manifold leak testing o Drager Gas Detection Tubes
  • measuring for levels of aHCl remaining in prepped tube trailers
  • Final Lot Testing ( Provide Support/Back fill if needed to assist with Lab resources ): o Gas Chromatography
  • Testing of final tube trailer head space for certification Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analytical systems.
Strong understanding of process control systems and instrumentation. Ability to interpret and present process data effectively. Skilled in mechanical repairs involving tubing, valves, and fittings. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety and quality compliance standards. The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $40.00
  • per hour.
