Production Assistant

Relic is a fast-growing screen printing and embroidery studio known for premium-quality prints, sustainable production, and creative brand partnerships. We produce apparel for local businesses, national brands, and our own in-house line - all under one roof. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and a clean, organized workspace.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our production team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. You'll assist with quality control, screen breakdown, garment handling, inventory check-in, packaging finished goods, and general production support across screen printing and embroidery departments.

Responsibilities:

Spot check garments for print quality, placement, and defects Fold, package, count, and prepare finished goods for delivery or pickup Break down screens and assist with reclaim and cleanup Check in incoming garments and inventory against packing slips Organize garments, supplies, and production areas to maintain an efficient workflow Assist with loading and unloading garments during production runs Maintain clean screens, workstations, reclaim areas, and equipment Support the production manager and press operators with daily shop needs Help with embroidery prep, heat pressing, tagging, or other finishing tasks as needed Communicate issues with garments, inventory, or print quality to the production team

Qualifications:

Previous production, warehouse, screen printing, embroidery, or shop experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Strong work ethic and hustle mentality Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed Punctual, reliable, and able to follow detailed instructions Ability to stay organized and keep work areas clean
