Our Rochester printing facility plays an important role in helping clients meet critical deadlines with accurate, confidential, and high-quality document production work. We are hiring a Document Specialist for our 1st shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and looking for a stable weekday schedule with the potential to become a permanent Avalon team member. What You'll Do As a Document Specialist, you will support a variety of print, copy, scan, bindery, and document production projects. You will be trained on our processes and equipment and will work as part of a team that takes pride in getting the details right.
Responsibilities include:
Operating copiers, printers, scanners, and finishing equipment Completing printing, copying, scanning, binding, and document preparation projects Reviewing job instructions to ensure work is completed accurately Performing quality checks before work is finalized Meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced production environment Handling documents with confidentiality and care Keeping work areas organized and following safety procedures What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, focused, and willing to learn. Prior print, copy, mailroom, warehouse, production, or office services experience is helpful, but not required.
Ideal candidates will have:
