Employees will work with fellow Pane Vita team members to create a high-quality product. We focus on employee safety, teamwork, product quality, efficiency, and Continuous improvement. Production employees are responsible for the overall monitoring of product quality and food safety on the line to ensure that all products are run within specification. We require employees to train and cross train in all positions, areas or functions that support the manufacturing process. Associates assume a leadership role in their area of responsibility as to proactively support company needs.

Job Duties:

Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines. Follows specific directions, fully understand the training on Safety, Quality assurance, United States Department of Agriculture, and Safe Quality Food regulations. Team focused helping in other departments as the need arises. During your shift keep your area clean and organized keeping waste to a minimum. Work in a safe and productive manor. Immediately report food safety and/or quality problems, reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to the Supervisor or area leads immediately. Maintain all production/quality records and reports as required. Assist with setting the lines up for production and operating the production line. Monitoring the production process to ensure the highest quality and safest product is produced. Assist in prep of ingredients for production Shape units to product specifications. Fill flour dusters, various filling and topping applicators Monitor & Place fillings onto product Monitor length, width and seems of product units to meet standard specifications Assure the final forming of the product and alignment on pans to specifications Align product in proofer for efficiency as they move to the oven Monitor the units in the proofer to ensure they are meeting quality specifications. Assist to maintain process control of the Proof Box and Oven. Load and Unload trays to the oven Align units exiting the oven onto the cooling conveyor and or racks for maximum cooling Move Racks from various stages of production Follow the correct feeding, packing, traying off and product rework procedures for all products produced. Erect cases and taping cases Place product onto moving conveyors Place product onto packaging wrappers Load cartoners Hand load cases with appropriate products Palletize completed cases Operate safely pallet jacks The following physical activities are performed on a regular or continuous basis throughout the time an employee is working. • These functions require the employee to be standing or walking 100% of the time. As well as, Lifting / Carrying / Twisting / Bending / Stooping/ Pushing / Pulling The employee is expected to carry, twist, bend, and stoop in conjunction with lifting between 10-50 pounds Exposure to Temperature Changes • Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
