JOB SUMMARY
The Production worker will be exposed to various entry level manufacturing jobs and tasks available at the facility and will assist production and shipping, in various areas by performing duties of support functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ability to work safely with knives and all power and non-power hand tools including saws, drills, heat guns and support processing equipment. Prepares materials for production and stages raw materials to support the manufacturing operation. Preforms post molding operations of plastic parts which includes cutting, trimming, spin-welding grinding and packaging Understands and identifies quality issues Maintains the production floor and warehouse in good orderly condition. Responsible for housekeeping/recycling in his or her work area. Compiles with company rules and policies Reads and interprets diagrams and instructions when necessary Ability to sustain a steady work pace and perform staging functions with and for others. Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to process and produce products in timely manner Employees are expected to support the philosophy that 5 minutes early is on time - that is to say that all employees should be at their work station ready to work at the time their shift begins Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 years work experience a plus but not required. Possess and demonstrate positive mentoring and leadership qualities. Good oral and written communication skills. Forklift certification a plus but not required. Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect. Possess basic math skills. Possess basic organizational skills. May be required to travel as needed. Maintain a positive attitude towards work and work environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $17.50 per hour
