Position Overview The Production Assistant plays an important role in supporting daily logistics, warehouse, and freight operations by assisting with material handling, shipment preparation, inventory organization, and operational workflow support. This hands-on role helps ensure products, freight, and materials move efficiently throughout the warehouse and transportation process. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Key Responsibilities Support daily warehouse, freight, and production-related operations Assist with preparing, organizing, and staging shipments for transportation and delivery Load, unload, sort, and organize freight, materials, and inventory Help maintain efficient warehouse workflow and operational organization Assist with labeling, packaging, and preparing shipments for dispatch Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and proper handling Organize warehouse inventory and support material tracking processes Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout the facility Follow company safety procedures and OSHA workplace guidelines Assist drivers, warehouse staff, and operations teams with daily logistics tasks Support inventory counts, material movement, and general warehouse activities as needed Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, freight handling, production, or material support preferred ( not required ) Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a physically active work environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus ( not required ) Basic communication skills in English What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Stable full-time employment with consistent scheduling Paid training and hands-on onboarding Supportive, team-oriented work environment Career advancement opportunities within logistics and warehouse operations Long-term stability in a growing transportation and supply chain industry Professional and safety-focused workplace culture Consistent weekday scheduling with overtime opportunities when available Work Environment This position operates within a warehouse and logistics environment involving physical activity, material handling, shipment preparation, and operational support.
