Production Operator | Mixing Equipment | Manufacturing Brook Park, OH Full-TimeOn-Site$21 - $23 /hr Posted Yesterday Front Operator | Production | Mixing Equipment Position Overview The Front Operator is a hands-on production role responsible for operating mixing processes and supporting day-to-day production activities to ensure safe, efficient manufacture of products that meet specifications. This position focuses on mixing and production tasks at the front line, following production sheets and standard operating procedures, maintaining GMP and compliance standards, handling materials and packaging, and supporting shift operations to deliver consistent, high-quality output. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor mixing processes and front-line production equipment to produce batches that meet product specifications Set up, calibrate, and clean mixing equipment and production stations according to SOPs and production sheets Accurately measure, weigh and load raw materials and ingredients; verify and record material lot numbers and quantities Follow production sheets, batch records and product specifications to ensure consistent quality and traceability Prepare and assemble packaging materials (pallets, boxes) and stage finished product for storage or shipping Perform routine in-process checks and basic quality inspections; report deviations and assist with corrective actions Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and site safety and hygiene standards at all times Complete production documentation, logs and handover notes at the end of each shift Assist with manual lifting and material handling as required; use mechanical aids or forklift when certified and appropriate Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams to support production planning and troubleshooting Follow compliance and site standards for cleaning, waste handling and equipment maintenance Qualifications Proven experience in mixing and production environments (required) High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or food/pharmaceutical production is a plus Ability to read and follow production sheets, SOPs and product specifications accurately Physical ability to perform manual lifting and sustained on-foot work; comfortable working in a production environment and on shift schedules Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Basic computer or tablet skills for recording production data Demonstrated commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and regulatory compliance Benefits Competitive Hourly Rate Health & Dental Insurance with HSA option Short and Long Term Disability Company paid Life Insurance Company paid retirement savings contributions 401K with Company Match Generous PTO Tuition Reimbursement And many other valuable benefits For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
