Production Supervisor Job Summary The Coiler is responsible for ensuring products are coiled, perforated, and packaged to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and production performance , in that order. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work and contributes to a safe and efficient production environment. Key Responsibilities Participate in daily stretch and bend meetings with the shift team Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times Learn and understand production processes; ask questions when needed Ensure all products meet quality standards; report issues immediately Escalate unresolved machine or product issues to the supervisor Assist in training new team members Ensure products are properly coiled, tied, and perforated to correct specifications Accurately complete production paperwork (weights, product type, etc.) Assist with machine cleaning, repairs, and changeovers as needed Support operators with rework (repairing or grinding defective product) Help other production lines and team members as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Dependable and reliable Willingness to learn and take on new tasks Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred Work Environment Manufacturing/production setting Requires standing, lifting, and working with machinery Why Join DPI?
