Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Worker working 12-hour shifts! In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of the production process, operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork drive success. Responsibilities Operate various manufacturing equipment including plastics blow molding machines, extrusion lines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and injection molding presses with precision and safety. Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet specifications. Handle materials efficiently using forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move raw materials and finished goods. Assemble components and parts utilizing hand tools and fabrication techniques to support production workflows. Monitor programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure machinery operates smoothly and troubleshoot issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency. Support materials handling, fabrication, machining, and assembly tasks as needed throughout the production line. Requirements Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes including plastics extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding. Experience with CNC machines, CNC lathes, or press brake equipment is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks. Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to manufacturing processes. Prior experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
