Starting Rate:

$21.25 (additional $2.00 for 2nd / 3rd shifts)

Work Hours:

7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM (Rotating shifts) Weekends as needed

Location:

Willard, OH As a Flat Cutter Operator, you will: Prepare and lay out jobs for cutting on the flat cutter machine Input sheet image data into the flat cutter computer system Removes paper stacks ("lifts") from skids or jogging machine and places them in trimmer to cut job Operates stacker by taking paper from trimmer and loading into stacker Apply load flags to finished pallets and maintain accurate production counts and daily reports Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area Troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed Change knives and sticks as needed to ensure optimal machine performance Assist with training others as needed Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality Strong ruler-reading and measurement skills

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating a flat cutter Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand for long periods of time Ability to read job instructions and use a ruler Must be able to rotate shifts in a 3 shift•operation and work daily / weekly overtime as required. Strong attention to detail Safety conscious

Internal Eligibility Requirements:

Most recent performance rating must be "meeting expectations" or above. Meet the minimum qualifications as stated in the job posting. Must be in good standing (i.e. not on Positive Corrective Counseling) Must be willing to rotate shifts in a 3 shift•operation . Must be willing to work daily / weekly overtime as required.
