Empire Laser and Metal Work is a leading provider of high-quality metal products and services, specializing in precision laser cutting, welding, and assembly. We are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and service to our clients, and we're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Production Associate.

Position Overview:

As an Entry-Level Production Associate at Empire Laser and Metal Work, your primary responsibility will be to assist with the wrapping and packing of sinks to prepare them for shipment. This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in the manufacturing industry with a strong focus on hands-on work. You will also have the chance to cross-train in other areas of the production process, including bending, welding, and polishing, as the need arises.

Key Responsibilities:

Wrap and pack sinks with care to ensure safe transportation to clients. Complete work in a timely and safe manner. Assist in preparing products for shipment, including labeling and organizing for delivery. Work closely with the production team to ensure products meet quality standards. Cross-train in other areas of the assembly process, including bending, welding, and polishing, to gain a well-rounded skill set. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety protocols. Assist with inventory management and product storage as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No prior experience required - training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle physical tasks. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
