Glass Manufacturing Job Description:

Tristar Glass is looking for a dependable Night Shift Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. This position helps fabricate custom glass products by assisting with cutting, tempering, insulating, handling, and packaging glass based on customer specifications. This is a hands-on manufacturing role in a fast-paced production environment. Glass experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with cutting, tempering, insulating, and fabricating glass products Operate or assist with production machinery and equipment Read and use a tape measure accurately Handle glass safely throughout the production process Inspect glass for basic quality issues Move, lift, and position materials throughout the shift Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow supervisor instructions, production paperwork, and safety procedures Work as part of a team to meet quality and production goals

Requirements:

Must be reliable and able to work scheduled night shift hours Basic understanding of machinery or willingness to learn Ability to read a tape measure Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively without assistance Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move for the majority of the shift Must follow safety procedures and wear required PPE Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or glass experience is a plus Preferred qualifications: Previous glass fabrication experience Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, or warehouse work Forklift experience is a plus Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment:

This position is performed in a production facility and may include exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipment. Safety procedures and protective equipment are required at all times.

Schedule:

Night shift. Exact hours may vary based on production needs.
