You'll set up, monitor, and adjust the double backer section to help convert recycled paper into high-quality corrugated sheets. This position is key to keeping production moving smoothly and meeting customer quality standards.

Shift:

2nd Shift (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM) — Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed

Starting Pay:

$18.57/hour - Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance. What You'll Do Set up bridge guides and glue stations correctly before runs Load and splice paper rolls, ensuring correct size and grade Adjust for tension, alignment, adhesion, and warp throughout the run Trim paper only as needed for splicing Clean starch pans, glue rolls, and keep the double backer area clean Record production, safety, and quality data accurately Submit maintenance requests and support equipment upkeep Assist the Corrugator Operator and help train dry end team members Follow production schedules and suggest improvements Follow all safety policies and keep your area organized and hazard-free Who You Are You're dependable and show up ready to work every day You're a team player who follows instructions and supports others You're comfortable staying active and working around machines You can read and understand safety instructions and production documents written in English You can use a tape measure accurately and consistently You're confident using basic math for counts, measurements, and simple calculations You're detail-oriented and care about doing things the right way You're eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team's success What to Expect on the Job You'll be on your feet for most of you shift.
