Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description This role supports day-to-day food production and warehouse operations in a clean, safety-focused environment. You will work around food products, operate production machinery, assist with packing and inspection, and help maintain smooth and efficient production flow. Responsibilities Support daily food production activities, including handling, processing, and packaging food products while following established procedures. Operate production and warehouse machinery safely and efficiently according to company guidelines. Perform quality inspections on products to ensure they meet food safety and quality standards. Follow food safety and clean room protocols at all times to maintain a sanitary production environment. Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing finished products for storage or shipment. Handle food products carefully to prevent contamination, damage, or waste. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and production spaces. Follow all safety procedures and use equipment correctly to reduce risk of accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines. Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed, if qualified and authorized. Essential Skills Experience or strong comfort working in food production or food handling environments. Ability to follow food safety guidelines and clean room procedures consistently. Basic machine operation skills for production or warehouse equipment. Capability to perform quality inspections and identify obvious defects or issues. Willingness and ability to work around food products for the full duration of the shift. Reliability in following safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with forklift operation in a warehouse or production setting. Background in general production, packing, or warehouse work. Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or food production environment. Familiarity with clean room or controlled production environments. Work Environment This position is based in a food production and warehouse facility that follows strict food safety and cleanliness standards. You will work in and around clean room areas, production lines, and packing stations, handling food products and operating machinery throughout your shift. Typical shifts include 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with work performed on-site in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The role requires adherence to all safety rules, food handling procedures, and any facility-specific attire or hygiene requirements appropriate for a food production setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
