Day Shift Who We Are:
We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company that takes pride in innovation, process improvement, and operational excellence. This team values employees who are hands-on, collaborative, and excited to make a real impact on the production floor. They are currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer / Operations Specialist to support ongoing efforts focused on quality improvement, workflow efficiency, waste reduction, and process consistency across manufacturing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, data analysis, process improvement, and working closely with production teams to create real operational change.
What You'll Do:
Support ongoing manufacturing process improvement initiatives across production operations Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement Observe workflows and assist in implementing Lean manufacturing initiatives Partner with the Production Manager to identify waste, downtime, process variation, and operational bottlenecks Help develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, consistency, and throughput Collect, track, and organize production data including: Cycle times Scrap rates Downtime Throughput metrics Analyze trends and estimate the impact of operational improvements Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and production teams Assist with workflow standardization and process documentation Support quality improvement and continuous improvement projects on the manufacturing floor Maintain a hands-on presence within operations and production environments What's In It for

Have:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Interest or experience in manufacturing process improvement and Lean principles Ability to analyze production data and identify trends Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working directly on the production floor in a hands-on environment Ability to balance observation, execution, and process support responsibilities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data tracking Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, or operations environments Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies Background in process engineering, mechanical systems, industrial operations, or chemistry-related manufacturing Experience collecting and analyzing production metrics Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Chemistry, or related field Experience working with production teams to implement workflow improvements

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, observant, analytical, and motivated to improve operations through teamwork and practical solutions.
