Manufacturing Full Job Description Production/Machine Operator Summary:

Set up, operate or tend machines to trim, form, part-mark, drill, tap, bend or assemble metal materials.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to safety procedures Understand and apply verbal instructions Understand and apply written instructions Operate punch presses, tapping machines, and bending machines Smooth, sharpen, polish or grind metal objects Utilize Control Plans and visual aids; inspect components during manufacturing Understand Temco work orders and parts traceability requirements Maintain consistent quality Operate precision measuring devices, tools and equipment Recognize characteristics of metals Speak, understand and read English Sustain output levels of assembled items Understand manufacturing methods and techniques Wrap and label products Work as a team member

Physical Requirements:

§ Good eyesight § Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity with small parts § Must be able to lift 30 pounds § Able to remain in one place for long periods of time § Able to perform repetitive motion § Able to bend and stoop

Qualifications and Training Requirements:
