  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Team Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our fast-paced facility.
The Production Team Leads are front-line leaders responsible for directing labor and execution within a specific production cell. Reporting to the Production Manger, with a dotted line to the Production Supervisor, this role ensures rooms are properly set up, equipment is operating correctly, and all processes, GMPs, and Critical Control Points (CCPs) are consistently followed. Team Leads serve as the on-floor technical and process authority for their area, modeling professionalism, reinforcing standards, and escalating issues as needed to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Core Responsibilities Safety Ensure all operators within production cell operate according to established safety standards Monitor environment, equipment, and processes to ensure safety is maintained Escalate safety concerns immediately and stop line if necessary Production Cell Execution Direct and coordinate labor within the assigned production cell Ensure production rooms are properly set up and ready for efficient operation Monitor equipment during operation to confirm proper functionality and safe use Ensure all standard work and production processes are followed as defined Quality, GMP & Food Safety Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times within the production cell Execute and verify required Critical Control Points (CCPs) and quality checks Maintain the highest quality and food safety standards throughout production Immediately address and escalate quality or food safety concerns to management Documentation & Reporting Lead shift change meetings and provide shift instructions to team Accurately complete and maintain all required production paperwork Ensure batch records are complete, accurate, and compliant Accurately report shift activity using company production and reporting tools Communicate production status, issues, and deviations to the Supervisor in a timely manner Document timecard/attendance concerns and assist in timecard approvals as requested Leadership & Professionalism Act with the utmost professionalism to promote a respectful and positive workplace environment Provide guidance, direction, and on-the-job support to operators within the cell Serve as a role model for safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork Continuous Improvement Champion continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, waste, or process gaps Support implementation of standard work, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives Reinforce best practices and drive consistency within the production cell
Education & Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Physical & Work Environment Frequent presence on the production floor. Ability to walk, stand, bend, and climb stairs throughout the workday. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment.
