Why this job matters Ko-Kwel Spirits is a growing part of our property and guest experience, and the Spirit Production Assistant helps support the daily operations that keep production moving smoothly. This role focuses heavily on hands-on production work including bottling, labeling, transporting products and materials, maintaining organization within the production space, and assisting with the overall flow of spirit production. This position works closely with the Spirit Production Specialist and other team members to support daily production goals, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and assist with Cask Club fulfillment and spirit-related projects. What you bring to the table Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee. Assist with spirit production tasks including bottling, labeling, sealing, packaging, pick list, and staging products for storage or transport. Support transportation of spirits, barrels, supplies, and production materials between locations and departments as needed. Assist with down proofing, batching, blending support, and daily production preparation. Help maintain accurate inventory movement and organization within the production area. Follow production SOPs and safety procedures to help maintain consistency and compliance standards. Assist with cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, tools, and workspaces. Support Cask Club bottle fill days and fulfillment preparation. Assist with loading, unloading, palletizing, and organizing shipments and deliveries. Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to leadership. Work collaboratively with other departments (Cask Club, FOH, Culinary) to support production timelines and operational needs. Support the Cask Club Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. Previous experience in production, warehouse, manufacturing, food & beverage, brewery, distillery, or packaging environments required. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Must pass employer forklift certification test. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent quality standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy. Basic understanding of inventory organization and material handling. Comfortable using basic computer programs such as Outlook and Excel. Ability to obtain and maintain a current state alcohol pouring permit and food handler's card upon hiring. Must be 21 years of age or older. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment. Ability to pass and remain in compliance with background and drug-free workplace policies. Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates. This role is active and hands-on. You'll spend much of your shift standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout the production and storage areas. You'll regularly lift and carry up to 80 lbs., including cases, supplies, and production materials. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements are part of the job. The production environment may include fluctuating temperatures, loud equipment, airborne particles, and alcohol vapors. PPE and safety procedures must be followed at all times. Forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment may be used regularly. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability may occasionally be required based on operational needs.
