As the Manufacturing Associate you will assist in the CNC operations to prepare for the manufacturing of quartz components using hand tools and other equipment. Prepping, cleaning, inspecting, and packaging of components and finished products against specified tolerances using visual inspection processes, data reports, software, and procedures.

5:00 am
  • 1:30 pm, Monday
  • Friday What you'll do at Tosoh Quartz.
Assist in the CNC operations to support the manufacturing of quartz components. Visually inspect incoming materials. Prep materials for manufacturing process. Wax and stage material for the machining process. Dewax and clean machined components. Visually Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Perform detail work, which may include waxing, dewaxing, chamfering, cleaning, and cosmetic inspection of parts and other similar functions. Pack and transport finished products. Update labor times in ERP system. Follow process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents. Assist with maintaining equipment. Assisting with completing daily and monthly machine maintenance as directed. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area. Who you are.
Minimum requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Able to accurately follow work instructions.
Excellent visual acuity:
ability to see small details and finish variations and defects. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Incumbent will be trained on:
Product handling, Cleaning, Inspection, and Packaging. Wax, Dewax, and product staging procedures. We'd love to see: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
