Seasonal Experienced Production Cook and Ice Cream Maker AssistantHourly/Nonexempt:

We've been making legen-dairy and legen-non-dairy ice cream since 2009! We believe ice cream should be seriously fun, and we work hard to keep it that way! Position Description:
This is a seasonal, highly physical position that demands focus, attention to detail, and the ability to operate specialized machinery. Must be available for 2x 10hr shifts till 5 PM. Days to be decided. This position will end on Sept 28th, 2025.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Make dairy and vegan ice cream bases Operate the ice cream batch freezer properly and efficiently Operate pinting machine Produce all baked goods and ribbons for ice cream Able to read and follow all recipe and process instructions Able to keep goods within the optimal temperature range throughout the production process Wash equipment and dishes properly and efficientlyProtect the quality and integrity of Fifty Licks product Proactively communicate any concern of product quality. If you see something, say somethingSafety-minded and aware of safety culture within a kitchen/production setting Able to safely work with sharp and hot objects Uphold Fifty Licks core values Contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace Communicate any repair, maintenance, safety, and other needs or concerns to the Production ManagerWork with a sense of urgency and purpose Education and/or
Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in a production kitchenPrevious experience in baking and pastryA fundamental understanding of pastry techniques is required
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work 2 shifts per week, including some holidays (if needed)Ability to multitask Strong time management skills Able to communicate ideas, thoughts, and concerns Reading and mathematical skills Proactive approach to work/self-starter Problem-solving & reasoning ability, attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
