Temp To Full-Time Machine Shop Assistant (Production er) Ready to launch a career in precision machining and grow into a highly skilled operator? We're looking for a motivated, hands-on individual eager to learn the craft from the ground up at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense manufacturing facility.

LOCATION
Sherwood, OR SALARY:
Starting at $21.00hr (DOE)
SCHEDULE
Full-Time, Temporary-to-Hire Day Shift:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30
PM Swing Shift:
Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM (shift differential available)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain shop floor cleanliness andanization in accordance with 5S standards Empty chip bins, scrap solids bins, and coolant collectors Operate a forklift and assist with staging of part materials Support machinists with setup tasks including preparing fixtures and materials Assist with loading and unloading operations using a forklift Monitor and maintain coolant levels and quality Learn to use precision measuring tools, finishing tools, and maintenance tools
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong work ethic and dependability Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a strong eagerness to learn Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or shop environment preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The position works in an aerospace manufacturing environment and requires the ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. The work environment is subject to noise, dust, and conditions typical of a machine shop.
