NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a Machine Production Operator for a family owned company located in Springfield that specializes in making fittings and accessories for the construction and building materials industry. This is an evaluation to hire opportunity for an individual who is interested in getting into the manufacturing industry. What we are looking for in a qualified candidate: 1+ year of previous experience in a manufacturing setting or machine operation experience preferred. Set up and operate roll forming machines and related production equipment. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) for optimal output. Load and set up un-coilers. Label and stack parts coming directly out of the roll form press. Proven experience as a machine operator. Prior maintenance experience is a plus. Attention to detail. Regularly check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws. The ability to stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for an 8-hour shift. The ability to lift 50 lbs. Teamwork and great communication skills are required. The ability to practice safety and be a conscientious worker and team player. Other job duties as assigned.
