We combine advanced manufacturing technology with skilled craftsmanship to create products that help improve patients' lives. We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Metal Printing Supervisor to lead our Metal Printing Department and support our growing production team. Position Summary The 3D Metal Printing Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Metal Printing Department while actively participating in production. This role combines leadership and technical responsibilities, ensuring work is distributed effectively, production deadlines are met, and quality standards remain exceptionally high. The ideal candidate is organized, technically minded, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll DoLeadership Responsibilities Lead and support the daily activities of the Metal Printing Department. Assign and prioritize workload to ensure production schedules and customer deadlines are met. Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members. Partner with the Lab Manager to maintain department efficiency, productivity, and quality standards. Assist with employee relations matters and performance management as needed. Promote a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment. Production Responsibilities Review prescriptions and work orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer specifications. Prepare digital files and components for production. Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain metal printing equipment. Inspect printed products and identify quality concerns before release. Clean, polish, finish, and prepare products for shipment. Maintain accurate production records and follow established workflows. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, dental laboratory, 3D printing, or related technical environments preferred. Comfortable learning and utilizing specialized equipment, software, scanners, and printers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, job orders, and production specifications. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
