Screen Washer / Screen Prep Technician Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Screen Washer to support our screen printing production team. This role is responsible for cleaning, reclaiming, and preparing screens for reuse, ensuring all screens meet quality standards for production. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Key Responsibilities Clean and reclaim used screens by removing ink, emulsion, and residue Apply chemicals safely to break down emulsion and prepare screens for reuse Pressure wash screens thoroughly and inspect for remaining residue or defects Dry and store screens properly to maintain quality and organization Assist with screen coating and preparation when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the washout booth and reclaim area Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment Support production team to ensure screens are ready on time for scheduled jobs Qualifications No prior screen printing experience required (training provided) Ability to work in a physically demanding role (standing, lifting, repetitive motion) Comfortable working with water, cleaning agents, and chemicals Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Previous experience in screen printing or production/manufacturing Familiarity with screen reclaiming processes or equipment Basic understanding of shop workflow and production timelines Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move screens (typically 10-30 lbs) Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable working in a wet and humid environment Work Environment Production facility setting with exposure to water, inks, and cleaning chemicals Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why Join Us Opportunity to learn screen printing from the ground up Supportive team environment Consistent, hands-on work with growth potential
