Production Planning AssistantJoin a Growing Manufacturing Team!

Blairsville, PA Pay:
$17.00•$18.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•3:30 PM Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with production schedules, ERP systems, and multiple departments? If you enjoy coordinating projects, managing documentation, and helping keep manufacturing operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a Production Planning Assistant to support our Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams by coordinating orders, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the production process. What You'll Do ✔ Create and process sales orders while verifying accuracy against customer purchase orders ✔ Schedule manufacturing start dates using the company's ERP system ✔ Prepare complete production packets for Engineering and Manufacturing departments ✔ Enter and manage Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) ✔ Coordinate order revisions resulting from customer requests and engineering changes ✔ Reissue updated orders and documentation as needed ✔ Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements ✔ Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time production ✔ Perform additional administrative and production support duties as assigned What We're Looking For ✅ Associate Degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience ✅ 6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing administration, production planning, office support, or a related field ✅ Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office ✅ ERP system experience strongly preferred ✅ Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills ✅ Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, drawings, and technical documentation ✅ Ability to identify drawing numbers, revisions, and part descriptions accurately ✅ Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments ✅ Willingness to work overtime and assist in the manufacturing shop when needed Why You'll Love This Opportunity ⭐ Stable Monday-Friday daylight schedule ⭐ Hands-on role supporting manufacturing operations ⭐ Opportunity to learn and grow within a production environment ⭐ Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams ⭐ Fast-paced position where your organizational skills make a direct impact Requirements Pre-Employment Drug Screen Required Criminal Background Check Required If you're looking for a career where organization, communication, and attention to detail are valued every day, apply now and become an essential part of our manufacturing team!
