Job Description
Machine Operator Bradford Forest LLC, a leading hardwood lumber and dimension parts manufacturing company situated in the rolling hills of Northwestern Pennsylvania, is looking for a Machine Operator for our Bradford, Pennsylvania location. The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production line machinery, feed chains and conveyors. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred Previous sawmill or manufacturing experience required. Must understand sawmill manufacturing operations with a priority on working safely with all necessary PPE. Must be able to meet the physical requirements including walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and standing for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have excellent hand/eye coordination to operate a variety of push buttons and switches Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with maintaining a positive, team-oriented work ethic. Must be able to read and write legibly Reliable individual with an excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as needed. Job Responsibilities Maintain a safe and efficient operation of production line to maintain flow. Perform startups, shutdowns, inspections, etc. Respond to various equipment sounds, process alarms, etc. Communicate with employees to ensure safety and continued operation Perform routine maintenance. Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate - $14.00 with possible increase after 90-days Full-time position with overtime hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am-3:30PM, Friday 5:00am-1:30PM and additional overtime as needed PPE reimbursement Paid holidays and vacation Complete Benefits Package If interested in being a part of our dynamic and growing team, applicants should submit a resume through Indeed.
