Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Wafer Fabrication Operator to join our advanced manufacturing team in Breinigsville, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of semiconductor wafers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety and procedural standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a focus on precision and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology development within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties Operate wafer fabrication equipment with precision, following detailed process instructions and safety protocols. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Conduct inspections of wafers during various fabrication stages to ensure quality standards are met. Handle electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical components involved in wafer processing machinery. Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters for assembly, adjustments, and repairs of equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, equipment settings, and quality checks. Follow IPC 610 standards for electronic component assembly and surface mount technology procedures. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize fabrication processes and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with manufacturing safety regulations and environmental standards. Skills Strong understanding of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing processes and surface mount technology. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards related to electronic assembly quality. Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment. Ability to perform soldering tasks accurately in accordance with industry standards. Familiarity with electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools. Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on wafer or electronic component fabrication. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow complex procedures. 6am-6pm Monday-Tuesday (every other Wednesday)
Shift B:
6am-6pm Thursday- Saturday (every other Wednesday)
Shift C:
6pm-6am Sunday-Tuesday (every other Saturday)
Shift D:
