Description
Job Summary The GMP Associate I supports the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices in a cleanroom production environment. Responsibilities include operating manufacturing equipment, packaging finished products, loading automatic hoppers, completing GMP documentation, and resolving basic equipment faults through HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. This role requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), safety procedures, and quality standards while contributing to a safe, lean, and team-oriented workplace. Key Responsibilities
Safety
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Report hazards, equipment malfunctions, and workplace incidents promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Quality & Compliance
Adhere to cleanroom protocols and gowning requirements.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, including batch records and production logs.
Perform in-process inspections and quality checks.
Follow GMP, FDA, and ISO quality standards and procedures.
Manufacturing Operations
Load hoppers and monitor material levels to prevent production interruptions.
Assemble components and subassemblies according to work instructions.
Perform bottling and packaging activities while ensuring completion of GDP documentation.
Operate production equipment and troubleshoot basic HMI-related issues.
Escalate equipment concerns or process deviations as needed.
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and production areas.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and QEK activities.
Complete required operational and continuous improvement training.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to achieve production goals.
Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Basic understanding of HMI systems and cleanroom procedures is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to wear full cleanroom PPE for extended periods.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Perform repetitive tasks and motions throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs as needed.
