The experienced Production Worker will set up and operate machines in a manner that maximizes production while maintaining quality, safety, and a positive work environment.

Credentials and/or skills and abilities:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience setting up and running machines (3-5 years minimum)
• Experience ensuring the quality of a product
• Ability to adjust mechanical conditions to maximize production
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to add/subtract fractions
• Willing to learn how to train others
• Critical thinking and creativity
• Takes initiative

• Willingness to work overtime

General Responsibilities:

• Set up and run machines
• Ensure product quality
• Adjust mechanical conditions to maximize production
• Direct team to maximize production
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Perform basic machine maintenance
• Operate as a team player - working and communicating well with others while promoting teamwork
• Learn how to train others
• Check product quality
• Follow standard work instructions and SOPs
• Produce quality products to meet production requirements
• Follow safety instructions
• Keep area organized and clean
• Promote continuous improvement ideas
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor
• Report quality issues to supervisor
• Abide by company rules, policies, and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Stand on feet for 10 hours
• At times may need to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
