Full Job Description Job Title:

PLATING OPERATOR II

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

This is an entry level position requiring basic mechanical/technical skills. We will provide on-the-job training to candidates who have a desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate and adjust plating lines Perform quality checks of products and assure good product Perform preventative & autonomous maintenance Basic chemical labeling Operate brass & steel ovens Host, forklift, and hyster-lift operation and inspections Must possess the ability to coordinate and move product from one department to another

Education & Experience:

REQUIRED

High school diploma/GED certification High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast paced environment Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Knowledge of plating processes and production lines is preferred Some welding skills preferred Knowledge of Terminal products, reeling, and plating processes Basic arithmetic and the ability to work with alpha-numeric part numbers

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably Must be able to push a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably Frequent standing, walking, and balancing throughout the day is required in this job. Additional PPE requirements as necessary for working environment

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00
