IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Seeking to hire Production Associate for a 1st shift job opportunity for this manufacturing company located in the Montgomeryville, PA area. The production associate will be responsible for gathering the parts and making adjustments to the machines to bend those parts to the specific dimentions listed on the customer order. Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment, general mechanical aptitude, using measuring tools, or experience working with car parts or making repairs to vehciles would be transferable to this role. Responsibilities Prepare piping and tubing sections of automotive emission systems. Read pick sheets to pull necessary parts and materials for setup production. Read tape measures and understand degrees for pipe bending. Bend tubes and flare pipe ends for proper welding fit. Place finished components and pipes into frames for welding line. Ensure consistent bends and correct flare depths. Break down finished frames/jigs and load into carts for the welding department. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Essential Skills Mechanical inclination. Tape measurement proficiency. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Experience with cutting equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ideally, 1 year of manufacturing or construction experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Good measurement skills. Knowledge of degrees for pipe bending. Familiarity with saw operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomeryville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
