Job Description

Overview AMG Titanium, LLC in New Castle, Pennsylvania, has two (2) manufacturing facilities that produce a variety of metal alloys for a wide range of industries such as aerospace, energy, and electronics. The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for leading maintenance team members at the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and performing all maintenance tasks in support of the two manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and maintenance tasks varying in magnitude.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance and documents task as required
  • Provide support to the Maintenance Supervisor as needed and required
  • Lead teams of maintenance employees to complete projects
  • Fabricate and assemble parts and machinery.
  • Install and maintain plumbing and fixtures.
  • Order parts and materials.
  • Maintains complete and accurate records of work performed.
  • Plan and layout projects.
  • Train personnel in safe and efficient use of equipment and processes.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and is a model for others to follow. Ensure team members are following all AMG safety programs. Must be a leader of the AMG Safety program.
  • Collect and input date into Maintenance Management/PM System.
  • Sustain all lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Physical Inventory as required.
Requirements:
  • Advanced levels of skill, knowledge and training in equipment maintenance, including proficient diagnostics and repair of technically complex plant and equipment systems.
  • Experience providing maintenance support in a metals manufacturing facility strongly preferred
  • Past supervisory or team leader experience strongly preferred
  • Possess a forklift operator license or the ability to get a license with training
  • Have familiarity with the types of equipment, operations, and processes at AMG
  • Support and champion all aspects of safety programs and quality programs
  • Strong focus on quality and customers
  • Ability to work with integrity in a team environment to achieve business objectives. Ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate with managers and coworkers.

  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn network applications

  • Ability to operate production equipment and mobile equipment with training
  • Knowledge of production processes
  • Knowledge and experience with lean, six sigma, and theory of constraints concepts preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP system preferred
Physical Requriements and Working Conditions:
Must be able to work at and travel between the 2 New Castle plants. Must be able to work both day shift (6 AM - 4PM) and Night shift (8PM - 6AM). A regular shift of day will be assigned with rotation as needed or required. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with personal protective equipment as required. personal protective equipment (PPE) provided as needed for noise and dust Must be able to wear a respirator Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, and 50lbs to 100 lbs. on a occasional basis. Must be able to work voluntary and mandatory overtime or extra shifts as needed or required. Must be able to walk up and down stairs and to stand for extended periods of time Occasional outside work possible (typically less than 5%) May work in extreme temperatures
Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour
