Job Purpose The HR Generalist is a business partner to employees and management at our New Holland, Pennsylvania manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of HR knowledge, a desire to build solid working relationships, and a passion to learn the business in order to contribute to the HR elements of business strategies. This position is on site at our New Holland plant Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Act as a first point of contact for employees in regards to questions impacting their employee experience. Counsel employees and management on all aspects of HR program delivery, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent attraction, development and safety/workers' compensation. Support the staffing process to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner with high quality candidates. Responsible for the onboarding process. Accurately update various HR systems as weekly payroll processing for production associates. Manage manpower placement and movement, identify training gaps, and maintain training records. Analyze development needs and implement training plans/programs that support our lean manufacturing philosophy and identify continuous improvement activities. Counsels and advises management on the consistent application of policy and procedure to maintain positive employee relations. Implement programs to foster employee morale and engagement. Works with line managers to identify human resources issues or problems and provides counsel and support in finding solutions. Other duties as assigned. Experience Required Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field. 3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in employee relations within a manufacturing environment. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, will consider an Associate's Degree with 5 or more years of employee relations experience or a high school diploma with 8 or more years of employee relations experience. Daily use of Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Proven HR skills HR Experience working in manufacturing environment. Understanding of key HR practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative and team-oriented disposition, with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize work. Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $74,625.00 - $114,425.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
