Job Title:

Production Helper Job Description Assist with the production of aluminum powder by loading raw materials into machines, removing metal, and operating screening and blending equipment. This role requires working outdoors, so candidates must be comfortable in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Responsibilities Load raw materials into machines and remove metal. Screen, blend, and pack aluminum powder into 55-gallon drums, Supersacs, or railcars. Operate blending towers and assist with furnace, screen, and blending operations. Move packed materials as part of logistics and maintenance tasks. Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain plant cleanliness. Adhere to strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment, working in varied weather conditions. Essential Skills General production experience Mechanical aptitude General labor skills Experience in production, construction, or assembly Forklift operation Proficiency with hand and power tools Machine operating skills Inspection capabilities Basic math skills Familiarity with concrete Machine operation Ability to use a tape measure Additional Skills & Qualifications Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and climb 3 flights of stairs multiple times during a shift Willingness to work 2-12 hour, 24/7 rotating shifts Comfortable working in outdoor environments with extreme weather conditions Ability to follow strict safety policies Why Work Here? Work Environment This is an industrial manufacturing setting with potential exposure to various weather conditions year-round. The role is primarily outdoors, but there are small buildings available for warming up or cooling down as needed. The job follows a 2-2-3 schedule, rotating days and nights every 28 days, with shifts running from 6:45 to 7:00. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmerton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
