Imperial Yeast is a yeast production laboratory with locations in Portland, OR and Philadelphia, PA. We provide homebrewers and commercial brewers with a wide variety of high quality yeasts and industry-leading customer service and support.

POSITION DETAILS

Our Production team is growing! We are actively looking for Production Operators with previous experience working on a brew floor (at least 2 years).

Reporting Structure:

Production Operators work under the guidance of the Production Manager and in conjunction with the Floor Lead to further the Imperia's Production department's goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately follow Imperial's standard operating procedures (SOPs); Operate all production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality; Consistently clean and maintain all points of operations including but not limited to: floors, tanks, carboys, parts and fixtures; Document all required tasks (this will include digital documentation on our Production dashboard); Perform other duties as assigned by Production Manager and Production Floor Lead.

REQUIRED SKILLS

High School Diploma or GED; Basic math skills; Previous experience utilizing an ERP (helpful); Attention to detail; Excellent communication skills; Ability to keep a clean working environment; Collaborative and team oriented personality; Ability to follow directions; Quick learner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees will be working in a warehouse environment where it can be hot, cold, wet and/or noisy for extended time periods in the presence of high voltage machinery, hot water, compressed gasses and steam.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$20.00/hr starting wage (DOE) + 10% shift differential for weekend shifts;
