This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining strict safety standards. Your expertise will help us deliver precision-engineered aluminum components that meet rigorous specifications and quality benchmarks. Responsibilities Prepare and set up molds, ensuring proper alignment and safety measures before pouring Operate furnaces and melting equipment to heat aluminum to the correct temperature for pouring Safely handle and pour molten aluminum into designated molds using appropriate tools and safety gear Monitor temperature gauges, flow rates, and equipment performance throughout the pouring process Conduct routine inspections of casting areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety compliance, and quality standards are maintained Assist with the setup and operation of CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, and other fabrication tools as needed Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify cast dimensions and surface finish Support the assembly of finished aluminum parts, including welding and mechanical fastening when required Maintain detailed records of pouring activities, equipment maintenance, and quality checks Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating manufacturing machinery such as press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and CNC programming Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precise fabrication and inspection tasks Skilled in using hand tools, tooling setups, cranes, forklifts, and basic math for measurements and calculations Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes including plasma cutting and stamping press operations Experience with quality inspection techniques utilizing micrometers, calipers, precision measuring instruments, and visual inspection methods Ability to work safely with molten metals while adhering to strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with welding techniques and assembly processes for aluminum components Mechanical aptitude combined with a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows to optimize productivity and quality Embark on a career where your skills make a tangible impact!
